On Saturday , June 17th members of American Legion Post 57 , VFW Post 1049 in Waldwick as well as Ramsey VFW Post took part in a day long event retiring our torn and tattered American flags. Veterans from the Paramus home also attended and were later treated to an afternoon barbecue at the Red Barn in Crestwood Lake , Allendale.
Thank you Joe Chinnici, a member of the Ramsey VFW for once again organizing this annual event.
