On Veterans Day a group of veterans from Waldwick American Legion Post 57 and VFW Post 1049 held a Veterans Day ceremony at the Chrstopher Goodell Public Safety Complex. Mayor Giordano and Borough Council members were present to honor our veterans. VFW Commander John Vervoort from Post 1049 gave the opening remarks, Chaplain Chuck Farricker led the group in prayer. Drew Churchson led the rifle detail and Waldwick High School student, Milena Jaghatspanyan sang both the National Anthem and God Bless America. It was a well-attended community event to honor our veterans.
