Local veterans from American Legion Post 57 and VFW Post 1049 here in Waldwick were invited to speak about their military experience at the Waldwick Junior High School assembly in conjunction with Veterans Day. Veteran participants at the assembly were Army veterans Commander James Leonard, Chuck Farricker, John Dempsey & Stan Kowalski, Navy veteran Commander John Vervoort and Air Force veteran Jon Grisoni. Thank you Ms. Josephine Vacchiano and the 8th Grade Team for bringing this meeting together.
